Do you have any other outlets in your area that would test the battery for you. Given the age of the battery it could well need changing. Could you borrow a charger and try that. It could be on a battery of that age that the load is too much and it's not holding it's charge. I'm no expert either but I'd still suspect the battery.

The gizmo I fitted to the Xsara went under the bonnet and I had to unplug a lead and insert the gizmo into plug and socket left. Now the technique seems to plug straight into the

SOURCE: citroen c5 esp/asr system fault Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS, TPMS, MIL, CEL and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. Doesn't seem too expensive in the grand scheme of things.

The cost to fix a P0013 code depends on the type of vehicle and the issue. – The exhaust solenoid costs between $20 and $60, while labor costs are in the range of $75 and $150. – The camshaft position sensor costs between $40 and $60. The price of a mechanic is between $100 and $130.
