Then a likely culprit is this blower resistor, often called the "final stage unit" in the BMW world. The function of this part is to regulate the voltage of the blower motor on BMWs which use the digital climate control. This blower resistor is a notorious weakness on the cars that use it. When it fails, your blower fan speed can fluctuate as

If I set the fan speed to 0, the car temp went back to normal. When I put it in auto or manual mode, A/C worked on passenger side, hot air on drivers side and KTEMP dropped. I could use the knob in the dash to bypass the heater and blow cooler air but it was still somewhat warm and I was getting hot air on my feet.

Hi I have a 1999 Ford F-150. A few years ago my AC stopped working. The vents blow air just fine but it’s just not cold air. I have added R134a refrigerant and saw the compressor begin to engage properly. It worked and blew cold air but within a few days to a week at most the air stopped being cold. I also noticed a smell inside the cab of
Any problem can be fixed, even the malfunctioning AC that’s just blowing non-cooled air. 8 Common Causes Of “Air Conditioner Not Blowing Cold Air”. #1 AC Not Blowing Cold Air Due To Basic Electrical Issues (Blown Fuse, Tripped Breaker) #2 Faulty Thermostat Preventing AC Unit From Blowing Cold Air.
Naptown thank you for your reply. yesterday it did it at night too for the first time. The blower is the one that fades away and comes back , not the compressor, because the air is cold and dry. The blower keeps on having a mind of its own ,,,it runs strong and fast and blows air like usual but in 5 seconds or so it slows down to a halt then within a minute or two comes back for a 5 or 10 or
A/C not working Temporarily My 2006 330xi has been doing this for years. After about 40 minutes of continual use, the volume of air starts decreasing and then eventually stops blowing cold air. Just a moderate amount of cool but not cold air. On a hot day this sucks. But then after about 10 minutes it starts up again like nothing was ever wrong.
When your air conditioner’s refrigerant lines become blocked or damaged, the first thing you’ll notice is that the unit is not cooling as effectively. If the problem is not fixed, once again the increased pressure and temperature cause overheating and AC compressor failure.
That simply isn't true. Almost all cars for the last 25+ years have had window switches that cut the compressor off if the pressure falls below a preset level, and if pressure rises above another level. On an F10 the ac pressure switches operable window should be 30-480PSI +- a few psi.
