AVR2. The rule of thumb I use for manually-tightened serp belts (and which I learned about here) is that you should be able to twist them no more and no less than 90 degrees at the tension test point. I've no idea how well that relates to the actual tightness spec, but it's worked for me for years.

That said, I've only worked at one shop through the years that had this tool and through using it I found that you can pretty much use the 1/2
Haynes manual says 180-200lbs for new belt and 140-160lbs for used. It does not specify anything different for 2.5L or 4.0L. Keep in mind I've known this manual to be wrong or leave out plenty of useful info. I have a 1991 Jeep Service Manual and those are the tension numbers quoted for the serpentine belt.
