16MM Socket or box wrench. 13MM Socket (1/4″ drive is the best due to clearance) 3″ 1/4″ drive extension. 1/4″ drive socket wrench. 13MM box wrench (Stubby would be better) Flat head screwdriver (to pry open the V-Clamp) Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to change the EGR filter on a VW 2.0 CR TDI engine.
P0403 on 1997 Dodge Intrepid I have trouble code P0403 - EGR FLOW CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION on a 1997 Dodge Intrepid, 3.5L engine. I replaced the EGR valve. The new valve came in 2 parts, it included a differential pressure sensor attached with hoses. The engine light is on most of the time, but it goes out some times. One of the t
An important component to reduce vehicle emissions and ensure Euro 6 standards are met is the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler, Febi reports. In a press release, Febi said: “The EGR cooler uses engine coolant to reduce exhaust temperatures, helping to prevent the formation of oxides and pollutants such as nitrogen oxide (NOx).
This is a quick look at what is involved in replacing a EGR valve on a ASTRA. the EGR valve is notorious for failing due to soot. This will cause a fault cod Ive got a X Reg 2000 Corsa c 1.4 SRi 16v & its not driving properly! firstly i have NO MAF on this car or NO EML's come on wen the problems occur or wen im driving!, the problem ive got is wen u dip the clutch to go down a gear or stop at traffic lights/ roundabout the revs drop quite low i.e 500rpm downwards to 200rpm for about a second
The problem is usually a blocked EGR cooler filter rather than an EGR valve issue. Some vehicles have had a previous restricted performance issues like a split intercooler pipe or cars not following the service schedule etc.. Replacing this simple filter is labour intensive and a bad design. call 01613207788 or visit www.mitsiland.co.uk. P049B

Got torques bolts and a wiring connector on top and a coolant hose entering it which comes from the bulk head ( from the cabin ). I'm after removing and cleanning aAySh1G.
